Infrastructure New South Wales
The sources for areas system is sourced from Restart NSW, the NSW Government’s fund for infrastructure to support financial growth and productivity.
Sources for Regions is designed to help local and rural NSW communities affected by mining by addressing infrastructure constraints.
Sources for Regions funded jobs
Since 2012, $208 million is allocated to 32 infrastructure projects in mining affected communities. These jobs make a significant contribution to local communities. They feature infrastructure over the wellness, liquid, roadway, education, tourism sectors and financial investment in CBD renewals to boost attractiveness as somewhere to call home and do business.
Applications
The NSW national features established the 2015-16 sources for areas funding round with an additional $32 million readily available. Local and rural communities afflicted with mining had been motivated to apply for money by 7 April 2016.
